- Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Education Degree, or a degree and PGCE.
- A Master’s Degree is desirable.
- Have American School experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Offer professional leadership and management to secure high-quality teaching, the effective use of resources, and improved standards of learning and achievement for all students
- Ensure that quality education programs take place in a safe, positive, and healthy learning environment.
- Work closely with the principal to align assessments and procedures towards meeting/exceeding national/international standards
- Work closely with the SEN Department to identify and assist students requiring additional support
- Coordinate with the principal to set the structure, training and strategic plans to establish a well-qualified and highly competent middle management team to take charge of the school improvement journey.
