Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, a preopening hotel,
is looking for an experienced **Recreation Supervisor **to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The Holiday Inn & Suites at Dubai Science Park will include 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B; offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.
**Your day to day**
- Ensures all clients in the Health Club are able to use equipment safely and effectively.
- Greets and welcomes all clients/guests.
- Ensures all clients are made aware of the different Health Club facilities offered.
- Assists in retails, beauty, and membership sales.
- Assists in maintaining a safe hygienic environment.
- Assists in membership lifestyle appraisals programme development and gym induction.
- Complies and submits daily and monthly revenue analyses to the Health Club In charge.
- Monitors the testing follow up of pool Jacuzzi chemical levels.
- Supervises the day-to-day functioning of all health club employees, facilities, sales, and costs.
- Develops departmental budget and goals and ensure cost is strictly controlled.
- Develops and implements departmental marketing and promotional plans.
- Ensures optimum service, treatments, guest satisfaction, merchandise, and marketing.
- Supervises and assists the training coordinator in the training of health club staff.
- Responsible for on-going fitness training, assessment, and motivation of Club members.
- Performs administration duties such as attendance records, duty roasters, sales records, and membership records.
**What we need from you**
- Ideally,
you have minimum 2 years of similar or relative experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Excellent English communication skills and well-versed in hotel systems.
- Amenable for working rotating shifts and proven leadership skills.
- Physically fit and in good health (strength is not a major requirement, but stamina is necessary).
- Caring, positive attitude to guests.
- A genuine interest in helping clients overcome their physical problems.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of physical training.
- High school diploma/Diploma/degree in a related field
- Computer skills
