Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Renewable Energy Research associate specializing in supercapacitors and advanced energy storage systems. The successful candidate will lead research in the development, characterization, and optimization of supercapacitor technologies, contributing to the next generation of renewable energy solutions. The role involves interdisciplinary work, with a focus on material science, nanotechnology, and physics. Key Responsibilities: • Lead research on the design and development of supercapacitors, focusing on enhancing energy density, charge/discharge rates, and material stability. • Investigate advanced materials such as graphene, metal oxides,
and carbon nanotubes for improved energy storage performance. • Collaborate with teams to integrate supercapacitors with renewable energy systems for improved energy storage and grid solutions. • Publish high-quality research articles and present findings at international conferences. • Participate in securing research grants, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to attract funding. • Provide technical mentorship to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in supercapacitor technology and material science research. • Evaluate and explore the commercial viability of supercapacitor technologies for
Minimum Qualification
Qualifications: • PhD in Material Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on energy storage technologies. • Extensive research experience in supercapacitors, including material characterization and energy storage device fabrication. • In-depth understanding of electrochemical energy storage mechanisms, materials such as graphene,
nanomaterials, and transition metal oxides. • Demonstrated expertise in physical and chemical analysis techniques (e.g., SEM, TEM, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy). Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals related to material science and energy storage
