Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
Customer Management
Leads development and delivery of joint, category-focused, business plan that delivers Transmed business objectives, works with customer strategy and creates new consumer insight driven growth opportunities.
Take ownership of the management of customer relationship through setting specific business plans through effective negotiation, persuasion and conflict management/resolution.
Creates the conditions for an amazing relationship with the customer through multifunctional approach.
Ensures that all customer data and information required to support the customer relationship is rigorously and robustly managed.
Develops deep understanding of Transmed and customer strategy, shoppers and consumers, using these insights to contribute to business development and trade strategy.
Develop and own Joint Business Plan and True-score cards with customers to boost category growth, sales, customer market shares and margin.
Create a personal relationship with the customers’ decision makers by sharing valuable business information, market and product updates.
Sales & Initiative Planning
Setting brand target plans with the suppliers and ensuring execution across the trade.
Manages and achieves effective sales strategies to ensure success against set KPI’s to constantly improve ROI.
Measures and evaluates all sales driver activity,
customer satisfaction/feedback and communicates results both internally and externally.
Makes proactive and reactive recommendations in order to beat the competition post analyzing Sales/Market trends.
Enable the Field execution team with the brand guidelines and sales deployment tools.
Enable the sales team managing customer head office with concept sells, brand guidelines and sales deployment tools.
Continuously audits and ensures that Sales performance reporting systems are used to forecast, monitor and manage the business in a consistently accurate way.
Engages with the Demand Planning Team to oversee and ensure product availability and desired inventory levels in order to execute the agreed plan set with the Customers.
Must be able to respond to a dynamic business environment that is constantly changing and determine key actions to resolve challenges
Supplier Management
Leads development and delivery of joint, category-focused, business plan that delivers Transmed business objectives, works with Principals strategy and creates new consumer insight driven growth opportunities.
Take ownership of the management of supplier relationship through setting specific business plans through effective negotiation, persuasion and conflict management/resolution
Ensures that market intelligence and data pertaining to the categories is shared in a timely manner with the suppliers for the purpose of analysis and enhancing the understanding the business and market situations/challenges.
Develops deep understanding of Transmed and Brand strategy,
shoppers and consumers, using these insights to contribute to business development and trade strategy.
Create a personal relationship with the supplier’s key decision makers by sharing valuable business information, market and product updates.
Financial Acumen
Delivers Sales and gross margin targets by analyzing financial reports and taking corrective actions in a timely manner
Propose and control the manpower planning to ensure meeting the budget
Negotiate with the suppliers to set Trade spending budgets to ensure brand sales and market share growth
Budget Management by ensuring trade spending is in line with the set budget.
To manage Accounts Reconciliation by overseeing the process of collection of trade receivables in order to achieve targeted credit terms.
Leads the negotiation of commercial agreements with retail customers as per the Trade Term guidelines
Set up brand price structures that ensures financial gains to Transmed and Suppliers
People Planning and Development
Responsible to design and lead the Go to Market Structure.
To monitor and analyse the effectiveness of recruitment in line with the company turnover %.
Identify and meet training needs of the Team by liaising with Sales Manager, HRBP and Corporate Training Manager where needed for additional training support.
Provide leadership through effective communication of Transmed Purpose,
active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results to include performance appraisals and salary reviews.
Build managerial talent among developmental team members in order to ensure continuity, staff loyalty and succession planning.
Qualifications
- University Graduate, BA
- 8 Years Managerial Experience
- 10 years in a sales role
- Experience in UAE Market
