Al Marwan Group is a holding company established in 1978, Al Marwan Group has grown a strong diversified portfolio in Real Estate Development & Management, Hospitality, General Contracting and Heavy Machinery trading of brand new and used equipment for the Construction, Mining, Oil, and Gas industries.
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team.
Job Scope:
Allocating, Posting and reconciling payables and receivables accounts, Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results, Review and recommend modifications to accounting software and procedures, Checking and Posting the monthly invoices.
Job Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Record financial transactions in ledgers, journals, and other accounting software
- Participate in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Generate and analyze financial reports as requested by management
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations
- Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor budgetary performance and report any variances
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Utilize accounting software and other financial management tools effectively
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience:
- Between 2 to 3 years of Accounting and Finance.
Other Requirements:
- UAE Family Book
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
