we’d like to welcome you to join InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residence as Engineering General Technician .
Your role will include but is not limited to:
- Ensure to possess a thorough knowledge of electrical systems of the property, the circuits, present loads and possible limits of new loads and adhere to the set standards.
- Perform work required for the repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems for the property.
- Locate and determine electrical malfunctions using test equipment.
- Test electrical equipment, such as motors, heaters, and controls for safety and efficiency, using standard test equipment and by observing functions.
- Install fixtures and other electrical equipment.
- Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding.
- Ensure to possess knowledge of the fire alarm systems and adhere to the same.
- Ensure that the workplace and storage areas remain clean and tidy.
- Respect the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment in use.
- Apply the hotel's security regulations (in case of fire etc).
- Support and follow energy-saving initiatives.
Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:
- Previous experience of 1-2 years in a similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent health and safety knowledge.
