Job Description
1.
Support the Talent & Culture Manager to ensure the hotel implements its annual T&C; Business Plan and Training/Development Strategy.
2. Provide advice and guidance including coaching and support to Managers, Supervisors, and Team Leaders on talent administration, performance management, training, and development.
3. Handle any team member grievance matters or interpersonal conflict sensitively and professionally, with an understanding and consideration of business risk, taking mitigating actions where required and escalating as needed to the Talent & Culture Manager.
4. Lead and facilitate positive change management in relation to workforce culture.
5. Ensure the hotel induction process is monitored and updated regularly with changing conditions within the hotel.
6. Support Reward & Recognition programs and assist Talent & Culture Manager to drive and communicate these programs.
7. Ensure health, safety, and welfare of all staff is provided for through implementation of Accor Health and Safety initiatives.
8. Assist in the effective operation of the WHS Committee.
9.
Coordinate all internal events eg: employee briefings, annual Christmas party.
10. Assist Talent & Culture Manager, General Manager, and the Department Head team with employee relations initiatives, coordinate reward and recognition programs and deliver training programs.
11. Support the Talent & Culture team in ensuring activities are in line with department budgets and keep accurate records of invoices and monthly expenditure, reporting any discrepancies or concerns to your manager.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor of Human Resources or similar qualifications.
2. A true HR generalist with prior experience as a coordinator or executive.
3. Demonstrates passion for learning,
is curious and finds opportunities to educate about L&D; and T&C; practices as well as digital techniques to bring new ideas to the hotels.
4. Communicates positively with body language, written and verbal communication, demonstrates positive orientation building a strong positive brand.
5. An effective communicator that is able to deliver a clear message to a diverse team.
6. A creative problem solver who has the ability to genuinely connect with others.
7. Previous experience in hospitality/hotel environment (preferred).
8. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills & ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
9. Ability to operate with honesty, integrity & professionalism at all times.
