Role: Senior IT Procurement Officer

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

- Manage IT CAPEX & OPEX purchases and support other buyers for different categories.
- Creation and managing of IT fixed assets.
- Develop and implement IT contract service/maintenance contract management process and coordinate with ITD.
- Developing and overseeing operating consumption, and communicating with internal departments to meet the setup targets.
- Handle the processing cycle for all types of requests.
- Handle Quality Assurance of documents.
- Ensure error-free processing.
- Ensure satisfactory audit rating with no high-risk findings.
- Manage internal relations within ADIB Department, particularly ITD.






- Ensure direct report employee development and training.

Key Accountabilities of the Role:

- Coordinate with internal customers and buyers for delivery time.
- Track, measure, report, and evaluate service performance.
- Purchase ITD equipment/services and process necessary approvals prior to awarding orders.
- Prepare tender documentation in coordination with ITD.
- Act as a backup for IT inventory management and other CAPEX purchase officers.
- Match TAT time.
- Create and maintain proper files, hard copies for reference and audit purposes.
- Ensure matching of target delivery dates.
- Close all open transactions as per workflow processes, and update records timely.
- Ensure that good controls have been maintained in all department-related functions and ensure that the department head is aware of all raised issues within the department.
- Oversee the ERP setup and provide daily supervision and support to the available team.







Evaluate the e-Sourcing tools as part of the P2P leverage and use of ERP i-suppliers for bid events, sourcing, and supplier lifecycle management modules for vendor management, utilizing the system to its fullest functionality to achieve desired goals and objectives.

- Documentation / Process Ownership: The incumbent is responsible for taking ownership, maintaining, and updating documented processes or documentation related to their job function. In the event where processes or documentation are shared, the incumbent shall be responsible for informing the owner of any document about required changes or improvements.

- Ensure full engagement while managing the supplier sourcing execution of contracts and approvals. Review and negotiate supply contracts/agreements and their T&Cs.;






- Ensure that contractual terms and conditions are met with ADIB standard clauses and involve legal when required, obtaining legal approvals on all contracts. Employ best practices in contracting methods to minimize risk and maximize value.
- Consolidate high-value contracts with key businesses to achieve global contracts consolidation and influence actual cost savings from vendor contracts.
- Support the implementation of new contracts and changes of suppliers, ensuring any change management is handled appropriately in coordination with the business and, in particular, effective handover to and understanding of new contract terms by the business owners.
- Perform sourcing analytics and conduct supplier research, analyze and evaluate potential suppliers, manage the overall supplier qualification process,





develop and create sourcing plans, RFPs, and other sourcing documents, evaluate and recommend sourcing to management.
- Manage the IT sourcing process on ERP for its controls and effective use while ensuring appropriate business involvement at all stages of the process.
- Assist in establishing and developing contract/supplier engagement processes including pre-qualification, solicitation, tender, and price negotiation for ADIB.
- Ensure that when tender floats, RFP/RFQ is made, and post-opening a bid analysis summary is prepared with written justification/recommendations accomplished.
- Develop best practice processes and work together with the team, procurement section, finance,





and IT to enhance efficiency.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this Role:

Total Number of Years: 5+ years of experience.
