Job Opportunity: Senior Structural Engineer (Civil)
One Works is looking for a talented Senior Structural Engineer (Civil) to join our team in Dubai to support the Company's project in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Location: Dubai, UAE (with a minimum, initial 3-month full-time secondment in Riyadh, KSA, with possible extension)

Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering.
2. 8-15 years of relevant experience in infrastructure design and structural engineering.
3. Strong knowledge of design techniques, analysis methods, and standards codes and guidelines.
4. Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to work in a BIM environment is an advantage.
6. Experience with Midas GEN or ETABS/SAP2000.
7. UAE/GCC experience is required.
8. Ability to work within a multidisciplinary design team.
9. Effective communication skills.

Professional English knowledge in both oral and written.
11. Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a large team.
13. Flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to lifelong learning.
14. Good supervision and management skills.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure they meet project requirements.
2. Modify existing design documents and revise details as needed, including performing analysis, calculations, and technical document revisions.
3. Extract engineering information from CAD drawings, preparing computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
4.
Ensure design accuracy by collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and contractors.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
6. Identify and resolve on-site engineering issues or discrepancies, providing technical guidance and support to the construction team.
7. Coordinate with the design team to implement necessary modifications during construction.
8. Provide input on cost-effective and efficient construction methods and materials.
9. Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials, review supplier drawing submittals, and perform technical bid analyses.
10. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with local building codes and standards.

Assist in the preparation of site reports, documentation, and project updates for stakeholders.
12. Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers.
13. Interface regularly with other engineering disciplines and departments.
14. Act in an advisory capacity to senior management on engineering-related matters.
