The Job
You will be responsible for :
- Have good knowledge and expertise in HVAC
- Responsible for the HVAC engineering design of air distribution and piping systems, to include specialty mechanical systems for new and renovated buildings.
- Prepare the design of the HVAC piping and air side systems to include the completion of code reviews, preparation of the basis of design
- You will be responsible for coordinating the work done by subcontractors.
- Ensure effective micro-management to guarantee that the execution aligns with the design specifications.
- Preparation of Revit CAD drawings,
specification preparation, field investigations, and other such design as required to execute the HVAC construction.
- Ability to do the various HVAC related engineering tasks through a combination of drafting and engineering (performing building cooling demand load calculations, reviewing different HVAC design approaches, sizing equipment, and reviewing building energy consumption characteristics).
- Experience with HAP / Trace / Hevacomp cooling load calculation software.
- Develop detailed construction documents, including mechanical drawings, equipment specifications, BOQs and control sequences.
The Profile
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in HVAC system design using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, HAP).
- Working knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment, and control systems for retail stores , offices and F&B; projects.
- Understanding of building codes and standards related to HVAC systems.
Additional Skills (Beneficial) :
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices for HVAC systems.
- Minimum 5 -10 years Experience working on interior design and commercial / residential fit out projects.
