Part Time General Accountant

We are hiring for an Asian part-time General Accountant for a retail company here in Dubai, UAE!

(Wholesale product, retail background is preferred)

**Salary**: 5000 AED-7000 AED (depending on the experience and qualifications)
Duty hours: 9hrs duty with 1 hr break
Timings: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Location: Business Bay & Al Quoz, Dubai
Working days: 5 days a week, 2 weekly off
Duration: 3-6 months, on going

Own visa or residence visa holder with NOC

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for complete day-to-day accounting of the organization
- Reporting to the management - Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly
- Sales Accounting/Revenue Recognition of Ecommerce & wholesale business






- Employee Accounting other than Payroll - Advances, Deduction, full & final settlement & reconciliation
- Vouch for process improvement and automation ideas to improve efficiencies in bookkeeping
- Coordinate and execute financial transactions and activities, such as bill payment, invoicing, payroll, etc.
- Assist in the audit process by providing information and data as requested
- Finalization of VAT returns

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Strong accounting knowledge
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to multitask and meet a constant stream of deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS:

- More than 3 years of general accounting experience either in a start up firm or in a private corporate

environment or as an external auditor
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field.
