We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist with a strong medical background and fluency in Arabic to join our team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Interaction**: Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- **Appointment Management**: Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments,
ensuring optimal use of clinic resources.
- **Patient Registration**: Accurately enter patient information into the system, verify insurance details, and manage patient records.
- **Telephone Handling**: Answer and manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services, procedures, and appointments.
- **Billing and Payments**: Handle billing processes, including invoicing, processing payments, and managing insurance claims.
- **Coordination with Medical Staff**: Assist doctors, nurses, and other medical staff by providing patient information, preparing patient files, and facilitating communication between departments.
- **Customer Service**: Address patient concerns and complaints, ensuring a positive patient experience.
- **Confidentiality Management**: Handle all patient information with the utmost confidentiality, adhering to privacy regulations and company policies.
- **Administrative Support**: Provide general administrative support, including filing, managing office supplies,
and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
**Requirements**:
- **Medical Background**: Prior experience working in a medical or healthcare setting is essential.
- **Language Skills**: Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is required.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, Microsoft Office, and other office equipment.
- **Customer Service**:
A patient-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- **Confidentiality**: Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain patient confidentiality.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Friendly, professional, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- **Certification in Medical Administration**: A diploma or certification in medical administration or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience with Insurance Billing**: Familiarity with medical insurance processes and billing procedures in the UAE.
