Purpose of Position

To deliver personal Sales revenue towards BSI’s overall new business sales growth mission, within a defined Sector. Collaborate with colleagues to develop existing client opportunities within the Consumer Promise practice with a focus on Sustainability, Traceability, and Authenticity within sectors such as Food & Retail, Government, Services, and FMCG.

New & Existing solutions
- Identify market opportunity for regions, build plan and influence key stakeholders to generate new business
- Proactively develop new client relationships to grow the Consumer promise practice revenue






- Collaborate with existing regional sales to identify existing clients and lead on the sales process for Consumer promise practice solutions.
- Facilitate the review of customer requirements and working with industry experts develop the customized solution appropriate to the clients needs and the integrity of a BSI mark of trust.
- Active engagement in the development of new solutions including supporting business case writing, client workshop attendance and leading on the commercial offer
- Collaborate across Sales, Marketing and Operational functions to ensure successful GTM and promotion of new clients

Project Management
- Facilitate project scoping, lead the project through to fulfilment as well as being responsible for all commercial aspects.
- Manage the client project through to delivery in collaboration with Operational teams and for customized solutions continue to develop the client relationship to retain and grow business.






- Support the client to maximise the value driven from the BSI mark of trust through influence of BSI Marketing team and deep relationship building within the clients business
- Ensure through close project management the revenue forecasting accuracy for the clients project

Key results areas and principal accountabilities
- Achievement of personal target and territory target
- Identify, develop and recommend new business initiatives which will ensure growth of BSI in local areas
- Pipeline development of personal clients
- Through influence and collaboration with BSI sales personnel grow the target market
- Identify and Facilitate new solutions development supported by our technical team.

Personal Effectiveness
- Meet the standards agreed with line management for face-to-face contact time with clients






- Produce and submit all weekly and monthly reports, expense sheets etc., within agreed timescales
- Follow documented procedures for the development and presentation of quotations
- Ensure that account documentation is maintained with the defined information requirements.
- Contribute positively to the development of the departments performance
- Adhere strictly to the BSI Group ethics policy
- Broad commercial experience and business acumen
- Experience in a consultancy/ solutions environment would be advantageous
- Exceptional presentational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong influencing skills at all levels of an organization
- First class organisational and administrative abilities






- Potential to self-manage within a geographically widespread multifunctional team
- Ability to comprehend, manage and utilise complex technical and financial data.
