Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
1. Consistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly service.
2. Representing Fairmont values and service promises.
3. Preparing, negotiating, and sending proposals & contracts.
4. Determine group rates based on evaluation with support of DORM.
5. Regular follow-ups to ensure the highest possible conversion.
6. Handles negotiations to ensure maximization of revenue income.
7. Site inspections and entertainments to showcase the property.
8. Attends all internal meetings and provides updates on group lead status.
9. Constant communication with operation teams to ensure the highest level of customer service.
10.
Managing a set of 2025 (3rd Party) accounts in terms of sales calls, entertainments, received leads, and conversion/production.
11. KPIs/Activity Goals such as the number of sales calls, entertainments, site inspections, received leads, and conversion rate.
12. Preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual reports such as production reports, lead status reports, personal month-end reports, etc.
13. Preparation, communication, and participation in FAM trip groups/events.
14. Constant interaction with Global Sales Offices to ensure the highest level of product knowledge for global KAM.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in luxury hotel segment (5*).
2. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
3. Very good presentation skills (site inspections).
4. Understanding of Group operations (arrival procedures, meeting requirements, etc.).
5. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office is mandatory.
6. Knowledge and experience with Opera is an advantage.
7. Previous experience in MICE is mandatory.
8. Team player with a supportive attitude.
