**Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Manage Purchasing Activities**: Oversee all organizational purchase activities, including processing purchase requests and optimizing procurement processes.
- **Vendor Relationships**: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure the best prices and negotiate terms when necessary.
- **Documentation**: Gather and prepare necessary documents, including quotes, proposals, and purchase terms and conditions from suppliers.






- **Purchase Forecasting**: Conduct forecasting to anticipate material needs, ensuring timely procurement actions.
- **Purchase Analysis**: Perform thorough analyses to evaluate vendor performance, cost-effectiveness, and market trends to inform strategic purchasing decisions.
- **Inventory Control**: Implement and oversee inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- **Order Management**: Analyze material availability and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and cost-efficient supply according to demand.
- **Logistics Coordination**: Manage and monitor shipments and customs clearance with freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery.
- **Supplier Data Management**: Maintain and update supplier master data archives in compliance with local regulations.
- **Vendor Communication**: Communicate with vendors regarding registration documents, invoice submissions, and payments.
- **Team Management**:





Lead and manage the purchase team to achieve departmental goals.
- **Experience**: 8-20 years of experience in a building materials trading company in the UAE, with a strong emphasis on hardware and timber experience as an advantage.
- **Contracts Knowledge**: Strong understanding of contracts and payment terms and conditions.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- **Communication Skills**: Proficient in Hindi and English.
- **Market Interest**: Keen interest in market dynamics with strong business acumen.
