We are looking for an organized salon receptionist to act as the first point of contract for customers and provide administrative support for the salon including sales and marketing.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Warmly greeting clients, walking them to the proper station and alerting assigned beautician of their arrival
- Processing transactions (cash and credit cards) and issuing receipts
- Offer beverages to clients and chat who are in waiting area
- Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointment based on availability
- Inform clients about new services, packages and promotions
- Update client records regularly
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Order brochures,
business cards and other stationery supplies
- Procuring beauty products and performing proper inventory
- Perform variety of administrative work
- Strong marketing and sales abilities
- Overseeing salon’s daily activities
- Organizing employees’ shift considering peak times and seasonality
- Keeping updated records of expenses, sales and revenues on daily, weekly and monthly schedule
**Skills and Requirements**
- Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist or similar role
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Hands on experience with office equipment like PC, printer and POS
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly organized and satisfactory record-keeping skills
- Ability to stay calm under stressful circumstances
