As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to :
- Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations within the hotel.
- Supervise and train restaurant and bar staff, ensuring exceptional service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain quality and presentation of food and beverages.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist in creating and implementing special promotions and events to enhance guest experience.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and updates.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all food and beverage areas.
Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience :
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in food and beverage service, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and trends.
- Proficient in inventory management and cost control.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software.
- Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation.
- Experience with event planning and catering services.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
