**Job Title**: Front of House (FOH) Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead our front-of-house team and ensure that every guest has a memorable experience. As the Front of House (FOH) Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our front-of-house team, ensuring that service standards are maintained and that guests receive a high level of satisfaction.
You will manage staff, handle guest interactions, and work closely with other departments to deliver a seamless dining experience. Your leadership and organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining operational excellence and driving team performance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Team Management**:
- Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak times.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
- **Guest Service**:
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Oversee the handling of reservations, seating arrangements, and special requests.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a manner that aligns with company policies and enhances guest satisfaction.
- **Operational Oversight**:
- Monitor and manage the front-of-house operations, including the dining area, bar, and waiting areas, to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to coordinate service and address any issues that may arise.
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards, including food hygiene and safety protocols.
- **Financial Management**:
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for front-of-house operations.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, labor costs, and other key metrics, and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
- Oversee cash handling, payment processing, and end-of-day financial reporting.
- **Customer Experience**:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience and encourage repeat business.
- Manage guest feedback and surveys to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a FOH Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Degree or certification in hospitality management or a related field.
- Experience in a high-volume or fine dining establishment.
- Knowledge of current trends in food and beverage service.
