About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and fluent Chinese Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating documents, emails, reports, and other written material from Chinese to English (and vice versa) with accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity. The role will also involve verbal translation during meetings, phone calls, or any other business interactions as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate written materials such as reports, emails, technical documents, and contracts between Chinese and English.
- Provide verbal translation during meetings, phone calls, and presentations.
- Ensure accuracy in translation, paying close attention to cultural nuances and context.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure communication is smooth and effective.
- Proofread and edit translated content to ensure the highest quality.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with excellent writing and speaking skills in both languages.
- Proven experience as a translator or interpreter.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology (if required).
- Proficiency in translation tools and software is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in Chinese, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in translating technical, legal, or business documents.
