Amazon Pay is the service which offers a more convenient and safer shopping experience to Amazon customers.
Amazon Pay allows customers to leverage their shipping information and credit card stored in their Amazon Account for shopping at EC sites outside of Amazon.co.jp. This service eliminates the need for customers to remember multiple IDs and passwords for off-Amazon sites, as well as the hassle of typing in shipping addresses and credit card information, all while being protected by Amazon Marketplace Guarantee. Many merchants have reported that Amazon Pay wallet share increased from 30% to 50% on their sites, indicating strong acceptance by customers. For merchants,
Amazon Pay can significantly increase conversion rates and contribute to membership acquisition.
