Responsibilities:
1. Build trust and credibility by focusing on how to meet multiple stakeholders' needs whilst providing constructive challenge on engagement issues.
2. Review documentation of flows of transactions and tests of relevant controls early in the audit cycle to allow for timely assessment of the planned audit approach and the entity's control environment.
3.
Suggest mitigating testing when controls are found to be ineffective, applying professional skepticism to consider the broader impact on our audit.
4. Recognize opportunities to add value, extend knowledge, and integrate specialists where appropriate as part of the core audit engagement team.
5. Participate in the group risk assessment scoping of work to be performed by component auditors.
6. Run file checks regularly throughout the audit and ensure an appropriate file structure for each engagement.
7. Engage early with scheduling and the extended engagement team, communicating expectations regarding responsibilities and deadlines.
8. Communicate the project plan and any entity-related dependencies with the entity's management team.
9.
Perform reviews with professional skepticism to assess the appropriateness and reliability of management's assertions.
10. Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, relevant laws and regulations, ethical standards, and the audit firm's quality control procedures.

Qualifications:
1.
Minimum 6+ years of experience in public accounting, auditing, audit management, preferably with big 4 Audit Firms.
2. Degree in Accounting or related field.
3. Extensive knowledge of best practice reporting and International financial reporting standards.
4. International accounting qualification is required: CA, ACCA, or CPA.
5. Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
6. Preference will be given to bilingual candidates (Arabic/English).
