Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist in ensuring the effective implementation of the HSE management system at site.
2. Organize and lead IPMT Superintendent/Supervisors, attend weekly meetings with the discipline Main contractors where and when applicable.
3. Participate in weekly/monthly construction meetings with the Client.
4. Have clear oversight of Field revisions of the detailed Construction Schedule where applicable.
5. Ensure all works adhere to Borouge technical specification.
6. Have clear oversight of material delivery schedule to effectively work in field construction activities and optimize the relevant schedule.
7. Report to the IPMT CM to advise in the preparation of detailed schedules and work to define priorities.
8. Ensure applicable schedules are kept to, and support recovery plans in case of delay.
9. Support effective coordination of all site activities within his area, particularly interfaces between Disciplines, to limit work overlaps.

Cooperate with EPC where a clear definition of extra-works becomes applicable to assist in the development of effective change order notices.
11. Ensure effective, clear links to Pre-commissioning/commissioning are identified between the completion of Site Construction activity and handover for Pre-commissioning.
12. Maintain close relationships with counterparts to ensure teamwork.
13. Support oversight of ongoing QA/QC requirements and liaise positively with the QA/QC team.
14. Have a working knowledge of AWP and understand its methodologies.
15. Ensure effective oversight and monitoring of the project-specific Work Face Planning execution strategy.
16. Ensure compliance with AWP processes and procedures.

Consistently seek continuous improvement and ensure updates for specific procedures are made accordingly.
18. Work in close collaboration and coordination with Tecnimont Construction Manager, Supervisors, and Subcontractors, ensuring all deliverables align with the construction schedule.
19. Ensure engineering requirements are always maintained and that work does not proceed without proper supporting documentation.
20. Identify and manage risk, encouraging commitment through formulating a clear vision and direction.
21. Lead a proactive work environment and maintain focus on project goals and deliverables.
22. Ensure effective communication with various stakeholders and regular liaison with the Construction Manager on field activities.

Verify that EPC Contractor has updated Material/Works requisitions for inclusion in purchase orders and subcontracts.
24. Review proposed organigrams, manpower plans, resources to be mobilized, method statements for the execution of the works, and subcontractor’s ability to take on additional works.
25. Coordinate the services of Third-Party Inspection (TPI) Agencies contracted by COMPANY for source inspection.
26. Review EPC Contractor’s Inspection & Expediting Reports and flag nonconformities or potential delays, recommending a course of action for resolution.
27. Monitor the progress of work at SITE against the PROJECT Schedule.
28. Support all field Quality activities in strict compliance with the client’s procedures.

Support all field HSE activities ensuring strict compliance with client’s corporate responsibilities.

Qualifications
Degree in engineering or equivalent preferably in Mechanical Engineering discipline. 15 years of proven experience in construction field preferably in capital projects environment with 10 years in the oil/gas/petrochemicals industry. UAE/ME experience is a must including construction exposure in Greenfield/brown field oil gas/Petrochemicals projects.
In general, candidates must have a B.S.
or equivalent degree in Engineering/Construction from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevant experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry including at least 10 years in projects engineering and implementation. Candidates should have considerable oil & gas EPC or PMC exposure in their working specialization.
Candidates should have effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company. Excellent writing skills in project engineering and management areas would be preferable.
Candidates should possess a broad understanding of all major design engineering disciplines in addition to their own specialization. They should also have effective analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
They should possess effective leadership skills and a fair understanding of Project Management, Tendering,
Bid Evaluation process, Procurements, and EPC Contract.
Basic understanding of continuous flow chemical/physical processes typical of hydrocarbon processing, hydrogen production, petrochemicals, and/or air separation.
