Job summaryThe Assistant Manager Financial Reporting will be responsible for supporting the finance department in various financial reporting activities. This role will require a strong understanding of financial principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Main responsibilities1. Financial Reportingxc2xb7 Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.xc2xb7 Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.xc2xb7 Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for financial reports.xc2xb7 Ensure adherence to internal controls and policies in financial reporting processes.2.





Budgeting and Forecasting Supportxc2xb7 Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.xc2xb7 Provide financial data and analysis to support budgeting decisions.xc2xb7 Monitor budget variances and provide explanations to management.xc2xb7 Collaborate with departments to ensure alignment of budgeting goals with overall financial objectives.3. Compliance and Audit Managementxc2xb7 Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.xc2xb7 Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.xc2xb7 Implement controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure data integrity.xc2xb7 Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed4. Financial Analysis and Insightsxc2xb7 Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.xc2xb7 Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for senior management.xc2xb7 Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement,





and process improvements.xc2xb7 Provide financial insights and recommendations based on analysis of key performance indicators.5. Process Improvement and Efficiencyxc2xb7 Identify inefficiencies in financial reporting processes and propose solutions for improvement.xc2xb7 Implement best practices to streamline financial reporting procedures and enhance accuracy.xc2xb7 Automate repetitive tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.xc2xb7 Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of financial reporting processes.6. Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Managementxc2xb7 Communicate financial information effectively to internal stakeholders,





including department heads and senior management.xc2xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.xc2xb7 Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other relevant parties.xc2xb7 Address inquiries and provide financial insights to support decision-makingRequired qualificationsxc2xb7 Bachelor's degree finance, accountingxc2xb7 The candidate should have a strong academic background with a focus on financial reporting & Audit.xc2xb7 Professional certifications such as CA or ACCAxc2xb7 Preferred qualifications; A master's degree in business administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance or a similar discipline is highly preferred.xc2xb7 Additional certifications such as CFA or CPA.xc2xb7 Required experience; A minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting,





preferably with an audit backgroundxc2xb7 Experience in a public accounting firm with exposure to diverse clients, audit processes, and financial reporting standards in a public accounting setting.xc2xb7 Prior experience with statutory reporting for a publicly listed company is a plus
