POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Learning & Development Manager at Lapita, Dubai Parks & Resorts, Autograph Collection is ready to reign in the new chapter of training at the hotel. You are the point of contact for all things learning and want to see your colleagues succeed in offering exemplary service to our guests whilst also growing their knowledge and careers.
The Assistant Learning & Development Manager supports the Director of Human Resources in designing,
delivering, and managing associate training programs across all hotel departments. Responsibilities include identifying training needs, facilitating workshops, onboarding new employees, and ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures. This role collaborates closely with department heads to enhance team performance, guest satisfaction, and service quality. The ideal candidate is organized, has excellent communication and leadership skills, and possesses experience in the hospitality industry. Knowledge of hotel operations and a passion for continuous learning are essential to succeed in this role.
You also follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Degree in Hospitality Management
Related Work Experience: At least 2 years related work experience.
