**Responsibilities**:
- Provide direct nursing care to students and staff members as needed
- Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify health concerns and develop appropriate care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies
- Develop and implement health education programs for students, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of student health information
- Collaborate with school administrators and community healthcare providers to address health-related issues and promote a healthy school environment
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license
- CPR certification
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff members
- Commitment to promoting health and wellness within the school community
