The Role
RAK Ceramics is seeking a Retail Planning Manager to be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize retail store performance, ensuring inventory efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and driving sales growth across multiple locations. This role involves analyzing sales trends, forecasting demand, and managing inventory levels to meet the dynamic needs of the retail environment. The Retail Planning Manager will work closely with merchandising, supply chain, marketing and store operations teams to support overall business objectives.
What you will be doing
1.
Develop and implement strategic retail planning initiatives, aligning with the company’s sales and growth objectives.
2. Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and store performance to make data-driven decisions.
3. Define store layouts and product placement strategies to optimize foot traffic and maximize sales.
4. Oversee inventory planning, ensuring stock levels are maintained to meet demand without excessive overstocking.
5. Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to optimize inventory turnover, reduce stock-outs, and minimize wastage.
6. Develop and monitor key metrics (e.g., inventory turnover, in-stock rates) to improve stock performance across stores.
7. Analyze historical data, market conditions,
and trends to create accurate sales forecasts and budget plans for each retail location.
8. Work with finance and merchandising teams to ensure forecast accuracy and alignment with business goals.
9. Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and store operations teams to develop product assortments tailored to each location’s customer base.
10. Prepare and present regular reports on store performance, sales forecasts, and inventory health to senior management.
11. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and optimize resources.

1. Knowledge on ceramics/building material and understanding of industry trends.
2. Hands-on exposure in inventory management tools and data analytics platforms.
3. Strong financial analysis with the ability to develop & interpret financial models and budgets.

A strategic mindset with a customer-centric approach and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
5. Self-motivated and driven by targets with relationship management.
Our ideal match
1. A completed bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or other related field.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years in retail planning within Tiles and Ceramics Industries.
3. An excellent verbal and written communicator with proficiency in Excel, SAP & CRM Tools.
