Assistant / Associate Professor - Restorative/Operative Dentistry

We are currently seeking a passionate Assistant/Associate Professor to join our College:
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree/American Board in Restorative/Operative Dentistry
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level.
- A strong record of research achievements and publications.
- Must be qualified to obtain a Professional License under Ministry of Health, UAE
Responsibilities:
- Engage in the education of undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.
- Conduct assigned courses in accordance with the content, format, and official description.
- Contribute to the development of rubrics for assessments of students.
- Provide students with formative evaluation feedback.
- Encourage the free pursuit of learning among students.
- Uphold scholarly standards of the discipline.
- Demonstrate respect for students as individuals and their privacy.
- Act as an intellectual guide and advisor.
- Foster honest academic conduct and ensure evaluations reflect true merit.
- Notify the Head of the Department of emergencies affecting scheduled classes.
- Discharge clinical site responsibilities on campus and other sites as necessary.
- Prepare syllabus files for courses taught.
- Prepare teaching aids and instructional materials for laboratory practicals and clinical sessions.
- Provide instructions for practical and non-lecture based activities.
- Prepare and present lectures or laboratory assignments.
- Review and update course content regularly.
- Administer tests and exams, including grading and posting results.
- Maintain office hours for student advising and curriculum planning.
- Coordinate all learning activities.
- Plan for laboratory equipment maintenance and procurement.
- Plan, schedule, and evaluate assignments and research activities of students.
- Instruct and evaluate students during professional training programs.
- Plan and conduct experiential training.
Research:
- Participate in academic and scholarly research activities.
- Publish in recognized journals, books, or citations of work.
Services:
- Participate effectively in committees at college and university levels.
- Contribute to faculty development and continuous education programs.
- Engage in community service through short courses, workshops, and seminars.
