The InterContinental Hotels Group properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotels. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1600 rooms, the four properties boast a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
- Always maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Report for duty punctually wearing correct uniform and provide a courteous and professional service to internal and external customers to ensure IHG DFC Standards are complied with.
- Constantly be aware of the room status on assigned blocks and public areas, ensuring that assigned blocks including corridors,
back of the house areas, stairways, and storerooms are kept safe and clean, and report any defects to Team Leader.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the assigned areas are always maintained.
- Ensure all equipment on assigned blocks is kept clean and in good working order.
- Understand and adhere to fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies to ensure accurate procedures are followed in case of emergency.
- Handle housekeeping cleaning chemicals and equipment safely while at work.
- Perform any other duties that Management may reasonably require.
- Prepare rooms for new associates arriving as per the SOPs.
- Ensure no misuse of equipment or FF&E; in the accommodation takes place.
What we need from you:
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Understanding of and ability to speak English.
- At least 01-year experience in Housekeeping (Middle East Experience).
