We're looking for Interior Fit-Out Document Controller
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Controlling company and project documentation including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
- Collect, scan, upload and print documents following set procedures
- Following and improving document control procedures, allocating document numbers to internally prepared documents and incoming documentation
- Keeping record for all RFI’s, IR’s, EI’s, CVI’s etc.
- Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards, inputting document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to
date.
- Sorting,
storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of clients and industry professionals
- Producing document progress reports for senior managers
- Conducting regular reviews and document audit
- Develops and maintains the projects department document control register
- Helping in the planning stages of a specific project, ensuring that all project documents are well checked and submitted on time prior to the document’s submission due date
- Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion
- Preparing letters and reports
- Keeping inventory records
- Preparing inspection request to consultant
- Maintaining updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution
- Notify personnel of updated document versions and how to access them
- Work with documents and records across various departments, including human resources, administration and projects.
- Maintaining the IFC Drawings register
**Expected Qualifications**:
- Relevant Educational Qualification preferred (Engineering, Economics, Computer Science or Business Administration)
- Share Point, ACONEX, MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD
**Expected Experience**:
- 5 years’ Experience working in as a Document Controller in the Construction industry
- Fit-out experience will be an advantage
**Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills**:
- Solid communication skills, attention to detail and follow up of outstanding matters
- Good understanding of construction documents
- Administration skills
- Command of Arabic language will be an advantage
Excellent organization skills and record keeping, familiar with capital project phases and archiving methods
