**Position: Sous Chef - Seafood, Sushi, and Gourmet Cuisine**
**Location: Beluga Restaurant and Lounge, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Dubai**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food and consistency in presentation.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, with a focus on seafood, sushi, and gourmet dishes.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain excellent standards of food preparation and hygiene.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as proper food handling procedures.
- Step in for the Head Chef during their absence, managing kitchen operations and ensuring smooth service.
- Assist in the creation of new seasonal menus and special culinary events.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Sous Chef role, with a focus on seafood, sushi, and gourmet cuisine.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff.
- Expertise in sushi techniques and seafood preparation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to excellence in food quality, hygiene, and kitchen safety.
