Joinery Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

- Drawing & Design:

- Develop detailed shop drawings for joinery works, including furniture, cabinetry, and other custom woodwork, using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings that guide the manufacturing and installation processes.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
- Collaboration:

- Work closely with architects, designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of joinery elements into overall fit-out projects.
- Participate in design meetings and site visits to gather information and verify measurements.
- Project Management:







- Assist in the preparation of project timelines and ensure that all drawings are completed and submitted on time.
- Provide technical support during the production and installation phases, addressing any design-related issues that arise.
- Quality Assurance:

- Review and check all drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications.
- Ensure that all joinery elements are designed with a focus on durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

Qualifications:

- Education: Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman, specifically within the fit-out industry.
- Skills:

- Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of materials, joinery techniques, and construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:







- Experience in luxury residential or commercial fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
