**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Beverage Preparation**:

- Prepare and serve coffee drinks, such as espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders.
- Steam and froth milk to create high-quality espresso-based drinks.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers, take orders, and process payments accurately.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.






- Handle customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
- **Food Preparation**:

- Prepare and serve light food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and salads.
- Ensure food safety standards are met and maintained.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**:

- Keep the coffee shop clean and organized, including the counter, seating area, and restrooms.
- Wash and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly.
- Restock supplies, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and paper goods.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Assist with inventory control and stock management.
- Inform the manager of low stock levels and any equipment issues.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the coffee shop.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.






- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and specialty drinks is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality beverages and service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Working Conditions**:

- The job may require standing for long periods.
- Exposure to hot beverages and equipment.
- May involve working early mornings, evenings,





and weekends.
