Position: MEP Design Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced MEP Design Coordinator with a strong background in consultancy to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating MEP design activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to develop and implement MEP design strategies.
- Prepare and review MEP design documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate project progress.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any design-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
- Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in MEP design coordination within a consultancy environment in Dubai will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, design principles, and relevant local regulations.
- Candidate to be of mechanical based design coordinator should have design and drafting experience of HVAC and plumbing system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
