**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments of patients in their homes to evaluate medical needs, limitations, and overall health status.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, patients, and family members.
- Administer medications, wound care, and complex medical treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety and health protocols.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and health indicators, reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families about care plans, medication management, and health maintenance strategies.
- Provide emotional support, counselling,
and health education to patients and their families facing health challenges.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in nursing practices, healthcare guidelines, and relevant regulations within the UAE.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities and health records in line with MOH/DHA standards.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred; an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) will also be considered with relevant experience.
- Valid and current MOH / DHA nursing license, full and unrestricted.
- A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience as an RN, with at least 1 year of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care setting.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) an advantage.
- Previous experience in home health care or community health nursing is advantageous.
- Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and patient management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Flexibility in work hours to accommodate patient needs, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic health records (EHR) and other technology relevant to patient care.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and transferring patients.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods and conduct manual dexterity tasks.
**Shift**:12-hour shifts, day or night
**Experience**:
- AS REGISTERED NURSE: 3 years (preferred)
- at least in an ICU or critical setting: 1 year (required)
License/Certification:
- DHA LICENSE / DHA ELIGIBILITY LETTER (preferred)
