Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join the Central Region Distribution Dept. The Central Region Distribution Dept is responsible for distributing hydrocarbon products domestically within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Your primary role is to perform a full range of inspection activities including welding, coating, external T&I; & Inspection, and non-limited mechanical tasks. The primary role ensures that assigned mechanical jobs are conducted safely and as per SA requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Review and monitor quality control programs developed by construction contractors.
2. Review Quality Assurance and Control (QAC) programs, design drawings, engineering specifications, waiver requests, and standards.
3. Perform inspections of an advanced and more complex nature.
4. Provide training to personnel to enhance technical abilities and understanding in various disciplines and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods.
5.
Conduct mechanical inspections including tanks, vessels, coolers, exchangers, sumps, flares, piping, pipelines, etc.
6. Oversee coating activities in compliance with SA (Saudi Arabia) requirements.
7. Familiarity with SAIF/SAP system to manage inspection activities such as issuing pre-Turnaround & Inspection (T&I;), T&I; package, post T&I; Defect Notifications, EIS review, and external inspections.
8. Conduct Reinforced Thermosetting Resin (RTR) installation and inspection.
Requirements:
This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Possess a minimum of 5 years of inspection experience.
