Job Summary
We are seeking a Reliability/Mechanical Engineer to join the producing maintenance division. The organization handles all reliability activities for all rotating equipment.
Responsibilities:
1. Be accountable for the reliability of designated areas' rotating equipment.
2. Conduct troubleshooting and failure analysis for critical or major equipment issues.
3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for equipment-related matters.
4. Review and update maintenance strategy annually for optimization.
5. Coordinate with workshops to review machinery repair procedures and work scopes.
6. Assess and add necessary work for rotating equipment during Turnaround & Inspection (T&I;).
7. Identify and implement new technologies for proactive maintenance.
8. Review Engineering Request packages for machinery modifications or upgrades.
9. Calculate and update monthly and year-to-date asset Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
10.
Issue monthly reliability program reports updating equipment health progress.
11. Follow up on the areas' Equipment Maintenance Program (EMP) and trends.
12. Establish a fault analysis database for assets ensuring data completeness and updates.
13. Approve SAP equipment maintenance history records for failed rotating equipment.
14. Investigate trips on critical equipment to identify root causes and propose solutions.
15. Oversee Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Proactive Maintenance (PaM), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.
16. Conduct life cycle cost analysis for bad actors and expensive repairs.
Requirements:
This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
1.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in the oil, gas, or similar process industry.
3. Extensive experience in rotating equipment and reliability functions.
4. Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in troubleshooting, investigation, and failure mode analysis.
5. Familiarity with reliability programs.
6. Full knowledge of international standards and practices related to maintenance and reliability.
7. Possess valid internationally recognized professional certifications such as CMRP or any reliability certificate.
