Education: Bachelor's Degree in Musical Theatre or at least a Diploma in Musical Theatre/ Bachelor's Degree in Music Education Major in Voice, Minor in Piano

Work Experience: Minimum 2 yeare experience teaching Musical Theatre to children as young as 3 years old all the way to adults.

Skills: MUST be able to sing, act, dance. MUST be able to play the piano.

Job Description/Responsibilities: This position requires the specialist (teacher) to teach children as young as 3 years old musical theatre pieces and lead them into performances every term. As musical theatre doesn't just require singing, the specialist must be highly skilled in playing the piano, acting, dancing, and costume-making.





Our students at Little Stars are taught to reuse and recycle so they normally make their own costumes from scraps and stuff they find in mother nature. The specialist must be creative enough to be able to think of costumes or props for every performance. This position would also require to communicate to parents and guardians whenever possible of the development or progress of their child. We also provide an end of the year write-up for each student accompanied by photos and videos. Please note we do not provide examinations at Little Stars as we are a performance-based school, so the specialist must be prepared to showcase the children's work.

This position will also require to travel to different preschools to teach Music & Movement as well as Musical Theatre to the existing students on certain days. The specialist will also be required to create an end of the year school concert program for the preschools with the LS principal and preschool management. An additional commission (to be discussed), transportation allowance,





and insurance will be provided along with this job expectation.

We expect the specialist to be on time for every class, in a state of excellent health, reliable, trustworthy, responsible, matured, and most of all passionate about sharing the beauty and technique of musical theatre to children and adults through music education.

**Salary**: AED2,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
