Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer to join our team. As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for creating unique, innovative, and trendsetting designs for our clothing line. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who is passionate about fashion and is eager to make their mark in the industry.
**Responsibilities**:
Develop and design original concepts for our clothing line, including sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings.
Analyze fashion trends, market demands, and customer preferences to create designs that are both current and timeless.
Collaborate with the design team to develop seasonal themes and color palettes for collections.
Create mood boards and storyboards to communicate design concepts to the team.
Work closely with the production team to ensure design specifications are accurately translated into the final product.
Attend fittings and provide constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality of garments.
Present finalized designs to the management team for approval.
Build and maintain strong relationships with fabric suppliers and manufacturers.
Stay up-to-date on industry developments and emerging designers to stay competitive in the market.
Participate in fashion shows, trade shows, and other industry events to showcase our designs and network with industry professionals.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, creativity, and knowledge of current fashion trends.
Excellent sketching and illustration skills, both by hand and using design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
Strong understanding of têxtiles,
fabric properties, and garment construction.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
A strong eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality garments.
Knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion practices is a plus.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
