About the Job:






We currently have opportunities for Waiter/ess to join us and be an instrumental part of Jumeirah F&B; dining experiences that we cater to our guests.

As a Waiter/ess, your role will be to serve guests requirements to their satisfaction, efficiently and courteously to the Jumeirah Service Standards.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

- Identify customer needs and expectations correctly, including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, services, or information
- Meet all reasonable needs and requests of customers within acceptable enterprise time frames
- Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service






- Recognize customer dissatisfaction promptly and take action to resolve the situation according to individual level of responsibility and customer feedback/ complaint procedures
- Offer assistance to colleagues when required, to ensure designated work goals are met
- Demonstrate trust, support, and respect towards team members in day-to-day work activities
- Conduct communication with customers and colleagues in a polite, professional, and friendly manner
- Practice high standards of personal presentation in accordance with Jumeirah Grooming & Presentation Standards
- Seek assistance from other team members, supervisors and managers when required
- Have a working understanding of all Food and Beverage Restaurant and Bars to properly direct and advise guests
- Anticipate customer needs and expectations correctly,





including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, services, or information
- Meet all reasonable needs and requests of customers within acceptable enterprise time frames
- Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service (up selling, guest recognition, resort knowledge)
- Recognize customer dissatisfaction promptly and take action to resolve the situation according to individual level of responsibility and customer feedback/ complaint procedures
- Offer assistance to colleagues when required, to ensure designated work goals are met

**About you**:

- Minimum 2-3 years in an International 5-star hotel property.






- Minimum 2 years in a professional supervisory role held in respect to this same function and department.
- Experience in training and development.
- Experience in all aspects involved in Retail as well as General Housekeeping.
- At least high school graduate or with degree in Hospitality Management
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge about cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability in taking initiatives, displaying leadership, problem solving, delegating, prioritizing and goal setting. Colleague management and sustenance of people relations is significant in this case.
