We are looking for candidates who are creative, dynamic, sensitive and passionate hospitality professionals, powerful to join our family as a Director of Sales & Marketing.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies and initiatives, as well as providing management and leadership to coordinate own team and sales efforts.

This will include direction of sales representatives and insuring that they perform per expectations and attain sales targets.

Further,





this role includes the support for growing international sales efforts and the development and implementation of facility sales and marketing strategies.

It is important that the Director of Sales and Marketing can work to grow and develop an external network of peers and a loyal customer base.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Prepares Sales Reports and annual Sales & Marketing Plan
- Creates effective Sales Programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the Hotel, its activities, culinary services, and personnel.
- Knowledge of travel industry, current market trends and economic factors
- Ability to access, understand and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
- Assist General Manager in preparation of the marketing, advertising, sales plans, programs and annual budget; manages within approved plans and budgets
- Develop rates, group sales deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management.
- Ability to effectively listen,





communicate and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff in all situations.
- Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community
- Candidates must have a dynamic leadership style, possessing excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Responsible for always achieving room revenue and occupancy targets through development and execution of a regional sales strategy through excellent customer service and protection of the brand integrity.
- Assess marketing opportunities and trends that compliment Group’s potential target audience and gather market intelligence on clients and competitor information.
- Organize regular sales trips locally and overseas to cover targeted sales activities.






- Organize 2 annual sales missions as well as individual GM visits to the markets
- Conduct a minimum of 15 sales calls weekly and submit a weekly report including summary of key appointments and return on investment.
- Sales calls to target existing and new accounts including but not limited to Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Protocol Offices, Ministries, MICE and Creative Marketing agencies, corporate accounts, wedding and incentive planners as well as potential partners such as airlines and tourist boards.
- Represent our resort at international trade shows, industry events, sales missions, showcases and consumer shows as directed by GM.
- Update and maintain consistent information on all accounts and meeting information in the company CRM platform.





Log short and long-term sales and marketing activities and strategies.
- Work closely with Corporate Office teams, responding on timely manner to projects, submitting reports, and completing administrative tasks when requested.
- Negotiate and implement annual Sales and Marketing agreements with key partners.
- Assess b2b and b2c marketing opportunities and trends that complement Amanoi’s potential target audience and gather market intelligence on clients and competitor information.

Key performance indicators :

- Exceed annual budgets set against room revenue as outlined in the sales incentive.
- Achieve and exceed market share growth from all business sources and channels.
- Achieve high levels of internal customer satisfaction across sales, marketing,





reservations, revenue management and on property teams.

Desired Skills and Experience :

You are a degree holder in Sales & Marketing who is confident and articulate. You have well-developed negotiating skills and excellent manners and grooming.

You understand the expectations and trends of luxury and lifestyle travelers. You can demonstrate existing solid relationships with HNWI clients and luxury travel partners in the Vietnam market with a positive track record of sales performance.

You will display excellent communications and interpersonal skills to engage with others. You are highly self-motivated and hands-on with sales presentations, events coordination, and day-

to-day operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree required






- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Very good computer skills, Opera, proficiency in MS Office applications
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales / marketing / hospitality profession
- Luxury hotel and 5-star hotel experience, operation knowledge in an international chain hotel
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience with 3 years at a managerial level
- Good organizational skills
- High level of integrity, enthusiasm, dedication, support for continuous improvement
- Self-starter,





coach and mentor who can motivate the entire Team to perform their best
- Strong media and presentation skills
