Logistic Assistant

Responsible as the key person for the planning and preparation of import and export shipping documentation.
- Stock Reconciliation of Import vs Export
- Coordinate with Internal & External Customers
- Able to understand the local customs requirement for sea, air and land shipments both for import, export and re import from KSA and any other origins.
- Coordinate with both internal vendors such as LE factories, other LME department sand throughout the group & external vendors Chamber of Commerce, Embassies, Customs Authorities, Insurers, third party inspectors,





freight forwarders and clearing agents as necessary to ensure that both imported and exported goods are supported by the required documentation to facilitate on time receipt and dispatch
- Responsible for the LC documentation for LME are in compliance with UCP 600, error free documentation and on time submission targeting with zero discrepancy.
- Liaising with Bank for LC/LOA’s, Amendments, Submissions
- Ensuring vendors follow H&S; Procedures as per End customers request
- Cost Savings
- Monthly Postings of all logistics related costs
- Posting GRN’s
- Handling the issues related to Material Missing, Material Damage, looking for the innovative Ideas to make the smooth flowing of Materials from Warehouse to the Shipping Point.
- Ensure that the trailers entering the facility are in line with LME Safety Policy and drivers are wearing the required PPE

**Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge**: - Minimum Degree required, Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines

**Minimum Experience**:At least 4 years’ experience in shipping or logistics and Export compliance

**Job-Specific Skills**:







- Knowledge in Export and Import documentation; L/C knowledge will be required.
- Excellent knowledge of Inco-terms, import/ export formalities,Time Management, Complex Problem Solving, Negotiation, Active Learning
- An understanding of JAFZ requirements would be an advantage
- Computer literate with excellent command of Microsoft package and LME ERP system AX Dynamics
- In-Depth knowledge of Logistical Systems planning.
- Good command of English is required, and Arabic would be an advantage
