We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store In Charge with a background in offshore and construction environments to join our dynamic team and oversee the efficient management of our inventory and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Act as the central point of contact for all stores in the UAE, addressing any operational concerns promptly and effectively.
- Oversee day-to-day store activities, including opening and closing procedures (Goods Received Note - GRN).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels, perform regular stock checks, and implement replenishment strategies as needed.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring a safe and pleasant shopping environment.
- Coordinate with inter-department and update stock levels.
- Implement effective inventory control measures, including receiving, inspecting, and recording all incoming stock.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records every three months.
- Analyze Yard requirements to forecast stock requirements accurately.
- Monitor expiry dates of perishable items and manage proper stock rotation.
- Train and supervise store personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Schedule and allocate tasks to team members, ensuring adequate coverage during operational hours.
- Conduct performance evaluations, address any performance issues, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage high levels of customer service.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in inventory management,
preferably in offshore and construction environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Solid understanding of inventory management and control processes.
- Ability to analyze sales trends and forecast stock requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in material handling.
