**About us**:
SCT Chemicals Trading was founded in 2019. Immediately was started the blending plant of lubricants. The plant is one of the newest and most modern in the region. Design capacity of up to 160 KMT per year. The laboratory has modern testing equipment as per the latest international standards for testing raw materials and finished products, and is being added to regularly to cater to our growing R&D; needs.
**Responsibilities**:
Assist the Purchasing Manager in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, obtaining price quotes, and negotiating contracts and terms.
Prepare purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in product specifications, quantities, and delivery details.
Maintain up-to-date records of purchase orders, contracts,
and supplier information in the procurement database or system.
Coordinate with vendors to track orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as inventory management and finance, to ensure seamless procurement processes and accurate documentation.
Conduct research and market analysis to identify potential suppliers, cost-saving opportunities, and industry trends.
Assist in conducting supplier performance evaluations, monitoring adherence to contract terms, and addressing any concerns or non-compliance issues.
Support inventory management efforts, including maintaining inventory levels, monitoring stock availability, and coordinating stock replenishment.
Assist in analyzing and optimizing procurement processes to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality control.
Generate reports and provide data analysis related to procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
**Requirements**:
Should have Chemical or Chemistry Background /experience.
should have JAZFA work Experience.
Should have UAE Driving License.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably as an assistant or in a similar capacity.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Proficiency in using procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify process improvements and resolve supplier-related issues.
Knowledge of market trends, product specifications, and industry best practices in procurement.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
