**We are looking for FRONT OFFICE MANAGER**
**Job Purpose**:
- To Manager and coordinate the Front Office Operations to provide efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble free and proactive services to guests: hence maximize room's revenue and guest satisfaction.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Directs Front Office operations such as checkin-in, checking-out, and providing guest assistance while ensuring compliance with all Front Office policies, procedures, standards, and satisfaction of guests' needs.
- Ensures that the Front Office is staffed according to hotel needs by utilizing business forecasts to schedule employees.
- Monitors the Front Office team's overall service and teamwork and focuses on how to improve and increase service delivery efficiency.
- Checks the reservation list, the arrival list, the departure list, and the VIP list and informs appropriate departments/units on returning guests, VIP and special attention guests.
- Authorizes and supervises the contract passing and room blocking processes.
- Identifies and manages overbooking situations.
- Maintains high visibility during peak period in order to ensure smooth running of Front Office Operations.
- Keeps effective key control and participates in matters relating to guest room security.
- Attends to guests' enquiries, complaints, and compliments.
- Attends to crisis and emergency situations and performs service recovery.
- Controls and analyzes departmental costs on an ongoing basis and takes required actions to cotnrol negative deviation.
- Identifies the training needs, develops the departmental training plan, and trains the Front Office staff appropriately and proactively.
- Coordinates Front Office duties with various departments such as Housekeeping, Sales, Engineering and Security.
- Ensures all Front Office records and documents are maintained as per Pickalbatros standards.
- Identifies and tracks Front Office KPIs, and devises plans and initiatives for improvement.
- Provides support for the professional development of staff reporting directly to him.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**:
- Bachelor degree in Hospitality management, Business Management, or equivalent degree.
- Strong knowledge of Front Office procedures and policies.
- Strong organization, interpersonal, customer service, supervisory, and communication skills.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as Front Office Officer in a comparable sized operation to Pickalbatros Hotel.
- Fluent in Arabic and in English.
- Spoken Russian and/or German are a strong plus.
*Willing to relocate to Egypt
**Experience**:
- Front Office Officer: 4 years (preferred)
