Interventional Cardiologist Consultant (Ft)

We are recruiting an Interventional Cardiologist for a well-respected multi-specialty Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

**Role**:Interventional Cardiologist

**Location**:UAE

**Hours**:Full Time - 6 days per week

Salary & Benefits: Up to AED 80,000 FIXED SALARY (depending to experience) + Revenue Share + Family Insurance + standard UAE benefits.

**Summary**:Diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease as well as congenital and structural heart conditions through catheter-based procedures, such as angioplasty and stenting.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Must hold relevant Bachelor of Medicine MBBS / MD as well as a specialist certificate.






- With at least 2 years of local Dubai experience and an established patient base.
- Experience in Coronary Care Unit.
- Ability to generate AED 500,000 in Revenue per month.
- Any Nationality considered.

**Primary Responsibility**:

- Use diagnostics tools to assess patient condition (e.g echocardiographs, electrocardiograms).
- Measure the improvement of patients in the unit over the course of recovery.
- Speak to patients about prohibited activities (e.g. strenuous exercise).
- Write prescriptions to treat chronic cardiovascular diseases.
- Diagnose patients with heart-related conditions (e.g. pericarditis, endocarditis, congenital heart disease).
- Perform surgical procedures to insert catheters, stents, balloons or pacemakers.
- Use implanted devices to diagnose heart rhythm disorders.
- Discuss patient progress with student residents.
- Oversee research conducted in the lab
- To perform the professional duties of a Cardiologist in accordance with the delineation of privileges as recommended by the credential committee.






- To perform his duties in the Cardiology outpatient clinic evaluating patients with cardiovascular disease.
- To provide consultation services to inpatient in his area of expertise (Cardiology)
- To conduct assessment & re-assessment for all patients in the OPD, on admission, and prior to any procedure.
- To oversee operation of the cardiac catheterization laboratory including the ongoing training of technician.
- To oversee the operation of the Invasive & Non Invasive Cardiac Diagnostic Laboratories ( ECG,TEE, Stress Test, 2D Echo, Cardiac Catheterization & Coronary Angiography, Coronary Angioplasty)
- Provides on-call emergency coverage for Cardiology Emergencies including performance of primary angioplasty / stinting, emergency pericardiocenteses,





balloon valvotomies & IABP insertion.
- To provide care to In-patients admitted under his / her care.
- Supports Continuous Quality Improvement. Develops and promotes appropriate standards of care.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding patient information and regarding administrative matters of a confidential nature.
- Evidences dependability in carrying out the commitments and obligations of the position.
- Demonstrates the ability to listen to others in promoting effective communication.
- Develops thorough understanding of policies and procedures of the hospital and demonstrates respect for them.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of the Department.
