Job Role: Freight Forwarding Specialist/Operations Executive

Job Location: Dubai, U.A.E.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freight Forwarding Specialist/Operations Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sea Freight operations, customs clearance, and possess extensive knowledge of Dubai Trade and contacts within shipping lines. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth and efficient freight forwarding operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the end-to-end logistics process and maintaining strong relationships with clients,





suppliers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of Sea Freight operations, including but not limited to LCL and FCL shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and procedures for smooth customs clearance.
- Coordinate and negotiate with shipping lines to secure competitive rates and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Utilize Dubai Trade platform and other relevant systems for efficient

documentation and tracking of shipments. * Handle and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies that may arise during the freight forwarding process.
- Maintain a strong network of contacts within the industry to facilitate smooth operations and explore business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs.
- Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators, highlighting areas for improvement and implementing appropriate solutions.






- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance

operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Sea Freight operations and customs clearance, preferably in a freight forwarding company.
- In-depth knowledge of Dubai Trade platform and familiarity with relevant

documentation and procedures. * Strong network and contacts within shipping lines and industry stakeholders.






- Excellent understanding of LCL and FCL shipments, including container loading and consolidation.
- Proficiency in using freight management systems and software.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with clients and partners.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
