Job Title: Registered Nurse (DHA) for Dental Clinic

Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse (DHA) working in a dental clinic, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive patient care and assisting dental professionals in delivering high-quality dental services. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, providing patient education and counseling, maintaining a safe and sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the dental clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for dental procedures.
Assist dentists and dental specialists during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.






Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Monitor vital signs and assess patients' overall health status.
Administer local anesthesia or sedation under the supervision of the dentist.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Perform preliminary dental assessments and document patient medical history.
Provide post-operative care instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene practices.

Sterilization and Infection Control:Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment.
Maintain and monitor dental clinic's infection control procedures.
Dispose of contaminated waste materials safely and appropriately.

Administrative and Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the dental clinic.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking dental supplies.






Coordinate referrals to other healthcare professionals, as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Patient Education and Counseling:Educate patients on oral health maintenance, proper dental care, and preventive measures.
Provide guidance on post-operative care and pain management.
Answer patient inquiries and address concerns regarding dental procedures.
Promote oral health awareness through educational materials and oral hygiene demonstrations.

Emergency Response:Recognize and respond to dental emergencies, such as allergic reactions or complications during procedures.
Perform basic life support procedures if required.

**Requirements**:







- Valid and current Registered Nurse license issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
- Prior experience in a dental clinic or oral healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends or evenings, if required.

**Salary**: From AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jumeirah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)







**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Same position: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Eligibility letter or DHA (preferred)
