Job description xe2x80x93 Engineer xe2x80x93 Sales (Project)
Location: Sharjah
Exp: 5-10 Yrs
Salary: 10,000-12,000 AED
Responsibilities
xefx82xb7 The sales engineer will be responsible for developing and growing the sales activities
for the service department; gaining new contracts in order to increase the profitability
for the business.
xefx82xb7 Responsible for end to end project sales for water and waste water treatment plants .
Must be having exposure to electrical and civil side of the project.
xefx82xb7 Sales engineer will be responsible for negotiating and finalizing the main contract and
will work closely with the service team for its execution.
xefx82xb7 Generating own leads and qualifying them into potential sales opportunities using
direct sales techniques including visiting clients, telemarketing, and cold calling.
xefx82xb7 Actively searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or
services.
xefx82xb7 Establishing relationships with new clients and maintaining long-term relationships
with existing ones through frequent calls and visits.
xefx82xb7 Managing and interpreting clientxe2x80x99s requirements and needs, and addressing them
swiftly.
xefx82xb7 Responding to sales inquiries promptly and developing leads into sales opportunities.
xefx82xb7 Maintaining records of all sales calls including visit reports Identifying and developing
new business opportunities in line with the companyxe2x80x99s strategies and goals in CRM.
xefx82xb7 Responsible for promoting and representing the company products professionally to
customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
xefx82xb7 Working with and expanding current prospect database within specified business
sectors.
xefx82xb7 Developing a sales plan to ensure business line growth targets are met.
xefx82xb7 Achieving sales targets monthly and preparing sales reports to management by
collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information, application trends, and
projects status.
xefx82xb7 Costing and preparing technical-commercial proposals, quotations, and customer
follow-up Issuing RFQs to suppliers and negotiating for most competitive quotes.
xefx82xb7 Defending submitted offers to clients against aggressive competition in a diverse and
growing industry.
xefx82xb7 Negotiating proposals with client including its terms and conditions.
xefx82xb7 Attending site inspections or meetings with the service team.
xefx82xb7 Working closely with service team once purchase orders are issued to ensure proper
handover is provided on the tasks and services required to complete each contract.
xefx82xb7 Performing follow up calls or visits with customers after delivery of product or
completion of service to develop and maintain after-sales support services.
xefx82xb7 Coordinating with clients for payments and collection once materials are delivered
and service completed.
Skills and Qualifications
xefx82xb7 Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, or Chemical
Engineering with a minimum of 5+ years of water treatment experience.
xefx82xb7 Fluent in English Strong interpersonal skills and customer service related background
xefx82xb7 Proven experience in sales Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
xefx82xb7 Good knowledge of Water and waste water treatment, process water treatment
equipment's.
xefx82xb7 Strong connection with end user, consultant, contractor, and potential customers.
xefx82xb7 Technical as well as Sales aptitude and Strong interpersonal communication skills to
interact with all levels of engineering and construction personnel.
xefx82xb7 Strong market analysis capabilities. Able to understand market drivers, uncover
customer needs and estimate financial opportunity.
xefx82xb7 Ability and willingness to work in and lead cross-functional teams, work in an
independent manner in planning activities, making decisions and supporting
customers.
xefx82xb7 Computer proficient with the ability to learn other software applications.
xefx82xb7 Strong organization and time management skills Customer focus, clear thinker, and
detail-oriented.
xefx82xb7 Ability to multitask, provide direction, and address service request issues.
xefx82xb7 Ability to travel when needed.
