About the role

As an Assistant Manager, Colleague Residence, your job will be to assist the Director Human Resources and Manager of Employee Residence in managing and operating the housing department. Managing room allocations. Ensuring all rooms and facilities are kept in good condition. Dealing with staff requests and issues. Working towards providing all colleagues living in staff accommodation with as good a Quality of Life as possible, assisting in ensuring that we are the Employer of Choice.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

To assist in administering and managing the various services at the Employee Residence department including:

xc2xb7 Maintenance

xc2xb7 Mail

xc2xb7 Internet

xc2xb7 Meals

xc2xb7 TV Lounge

xc2xb7 Gyms

xc2xb7 Car Parking

xc2xb7 Grocery Store

xc2xb7 Cafxc3xa9

xc2xb7 Clinic

To ensure that they meet the requirements of all Team Members to maintain the Quality of Life at Company provided accommodation.

xc2xb7 To work on a 24-hour roster system, to ensure that all needs, requirements and issues arising in the Employee Residence are dealt with effectively.

xc2xb7 Deals with team members and resolves all problems relating to housing issues and assists with colleague personal problems.

xc2xb7 Liaises with the various in-house and outsourced companies in relation to the following:







xc2xb7 Housekeeping and cleaning

xc2xb7 Security

xc2xb7 Linen and Laundry

xc2xb7 Transportation

xc2xb7 Catering

xc2xb7 Internet

xc2xb7 Grocery

xc2xb7 Gym

xc2xb7 Salon

xc2xb7 Clinics

xc2xb7 Pest Control

xc2xb7 Waste Management

xc2xb7 To work with all colleagues to ensure that all their needs and requirements are attended to in a timely and in courteous and effective manner.

The ideal candidate will have a previous experience in a similar position, team leader or supervisory training, good administrative skills, and the ability to function on their own abilities. To be decisive, mature, sympathetic, empathic,





able to deal with personal issues of colleagues without becoming emotionally involved.
