ES English is an international English language training centre with campuses in Dubai and London that teaches English as a foreign language to students from around the world. In our state-of-the-art learning facilities, ES English offers a wide selection of both short-term and long-term English language courses to international students. Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement or revision.
2. Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and providing strategic solutions.
3. Manages day to day business of the operations department while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as business analysis, vendor, and risk management.
4. To monitor and oversee the quality of work by contractors, caretakers and cleaning staff.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the buildings, facilities, grounds, fabric, and furnishings of the school.
6. Plays a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes.
7. Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
8. Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
9. Completes reasonability testing and information validation prior to circulating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
10. Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, remove barriers, resolve issues of medium complexity involving stakeholders and escalate to appropriate level when required.
11. Assesses a variety of situations and provide clarity to team and stakeholders.

Supports back-office and firm-wide training programs, reinforcing tech and operations infrastructure between departments to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
13. Works closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance to regulatory-based best practices.
14. Ensuring an adequate risk assessment for school trips/activities is formulated and implemented.
15. Ensuring the School has an appropriate insurance programme covering all key risks in respect of which insurance is required and liaising with the Director of Finance in this regard where necessary.
16. Through regular contact with the premises staff ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of the school is carried out,





and progress is monitored.
17. Advising on all Health & Safety matters, including measures in the event of emergencies.
18. To ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, and administrative requirements and procedures related to health and safety, fire regulations, other licenses, buildings, education.
19. Keep the School Senior leadership Team updated on new rules and regulations and updates to existing ones, in an accurate and timely manner.

Operations Manager Qualifications / Skills:

1. Addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction.
2. Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies.
3. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities.
4.





Ability to communicate with others effectively.
5. Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond timely inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings.
6. Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in program management, business or public administration, technical management, information systems, engineering, finance/accounting, or related fields.
2. Professional certificate on facility management or relevant fields is a surplus.
3. Project management certification is desirable.
4. Minimum of two (2) years of recent overall project management experience.
5. A commitment to personal and professional integrity and a strong, values-driven approach to leadership.
6. Ability to,





at an early stage identify potential risks to the school’s operations.
7. Strong spoken and written English.
